in case this can help anyone I got the sensor at the ford dealer. jack the car up on the lh side, get underneath and you'll see a black sensor by the output of the right axle its held in by a metal holdown with an 8mm bolt in it. You'll need a wrench to get it out as theres no room for a rachet. then you'll need some thin needlenose to hold the base that the sensor screws onto and a 24mm to remove the sensor. the connector/plug is accessible from the top(its found just below the iac tubing which I removed). Heres where mine got tricky. I pulled out the old sensor and the shaft was broken off. to access this you must pry out the base to the sensor(fluid will run out being the car is jacked up) you'll see the shaft sitting there you have to grab the shaft with a set of pliers while holding the piece that goes down into the tranny with another pair of pliers. then you're done, install the new sensor and be careful not to twist the wires up too badly when tightening the sensor up. Hope this helps anyone out there I didnt really find a good writeup when searching
