Yeah...I think it would be close but haven driven both I still think the TTA has a slight edge. Weight is about the same but TTA is a little lighter...A4 has the traction but TTA has HP/Torque advantage.

The TTA 3.8L boost is around 17 psi stock and should run 13.2-13.5 stock. Previous owner of the A4 never had it at the track but estimates the HP to be around 250 at the wheels and should run mid to high 13's. TTA gets a slight weight advantage and auto is better then a stick at the track. But your right I can crank the boost up to 18-19 psi on the TTA and that put them in the high 12's still on pump gas. With the addition of a few simple mods (chip, MSD50# injectors, Walbro fuel pump, adj. fuel reg., adj. wastegate, 3" DP w/test pipe or dump, and progressive alcohol injection all at around $1,000 total) the stock turbo can go 23-24 psi on 93 octane with progressive alcohol injection sprayed from 18 psi on up the car is now low 11's at around 126 mph. It's a tried and true recipe that has been used on the GN's and TTA's for over 16 years now. I am slowly acquiring all of these parts and will have them all by next Spring

Then I will look like this...with the help of DR's that is
