Too bad our trailer is burried in snow and in storage mode for the winter, otherwise we would have gladly towed you.

Interesting....

Just got off the phone with the dealer. They qouted me $100.00 more than yesterday. Of course I called them on it.... He said that I have an SVT. I said Yes and..... He said it was $100.00 more for the SVT than for the normal 6. I said no, I will pay you what you quoted yesterday because there is no difference. He said OK....

What the heck!!!!!!

there is no difference that i know of.
other than the dificulty to get it on a 2 post lift as opposed to getting an SE on teh lift.
but i had no problem at all putting randys SVT on the lift.

What a fugger!
i would report them to ford.
write a nastygram!

Yeah - for some reason I remember getting quoted a different price. I think they just go off the top of their head when you first call and then when they look up the actual price, they are like "wow, that's high". For some reason the Contour alt. is more expensive than say, a Focus.

Based on where he lives, I'd guess Autofair or Champion.

yeah, I need to check up on it again, I haven't noticed any oil getting to the ground recently. I think maybe it has something to do with the car being run for a very short time and not warming up, as my little coolant leak came back another weekend when that car was run very little, but that was also the seal being to thin to seal, luckly I still had the old one kicking around

yeah with the rear main seal I have always had alittle oil between the block and trans, then I switched to the valvoline high milage as it was getting alittle worse, I have used that for just about this whole year, oil changes happened about once a month, now all of the sudden it is leaking, but in the week before there were a few time I was really hard on the car

I am hoping that somehow I put to much oil in, even though it takes 5 qts and I put 5 qts in, hope I didn't put 6 in , hopefully next oil change it will go away, as it seems to have done on the contour ...

Autofair.... It is all straightened out. This is why it pays to be an informed consumer.

Picked up the car last night and everything seems fine. No more dimming lights which is a nice improvement. Lights used to dim when my stereo kicked in and when the antenna goes up. No More!!!!!
