you may want to check out what i did to mine... i have a 98 mystique and it really bugged me that the "chrome" was beginning to fade after owning it a couple years, so, i actually had my headlight lenses painted on the outside. it has been done for 3 years now and has held up perfect! visibility was reduced, but barely. my bright aftermarket fogs supply more than enough light even by themselves. anyway, check my page out for a closeup picture.
