definately get it checked for free before forking over the $$ and doing the labor. That scary noise could be a worn belt on a pully. Sounds like the battery could be just as likely of a problem here.

well the battery ligth went off, its starting harder cuz the winter came. Its starting fine but in nutral or 1st if it revs to high it starts screathign and winds up and up till i shut it off. Any one got any clue? I mean this sucker screams and keeps doing it till i shut it off. Hopefully nothing to majore. I member reading about valves staying open of something but I didnt thinkt hey would relate to it making a scary noise when its on idle.

sounds like the IAC (idle air controler) which controls your idle RPMs is gunked up. Mine is getting pretty bad as well. I need to take it out and clean it out. I belive there is a how-to in the main site FAQ

That would make a scary clicking/grinding noise at idle?
