Yeah, the only thing that bugs me about the ATX is how loooong the wait is for power...
The other day I was doing 55 and the speed limit goes to 55, I think I had my foot way down on it for a good like 10 seconds before it finally decided to shift down and do its stuff.. !

My car doesn't really surprise me. It waits till something breaks to do that.

First time the secondaries opened at WOT. I was so surprised how quick it hit 6500 rpms that I couldn't stop grinning for 1/2 the day. (Had to do it about 20 more times to make sure). Scott

Surprised by my car? Not so much, now that I'm used to it. However, it surprises other people. My dad loves it, he says it's the most fun car he's ever driven. Shortly after I got it, I let my aunt drive it, and she liked the fact that it was 5-speed. However, being used to driving Hondas for a good part of her life, the first time she presseed the gas, it surprised her by kicking up a lot of gravel in the driveway, and we gave her a good tease about how it had just a bit more power than the 5-speeds she was accustomed to driving. :-P

Some little tart in a Nissan Altima was acting real cool, doing around 85 and coming up fast in my mirror.
She had the intentions of passing me to get in the front of the pack, but when I pushed the throttle down on my SVT, she started to fall back pretty fast.
Just for laughs, I allowed her to catch back up and I did it again...
LMAO because she was getting really pissed at me, not allowing this "Prissy Little Missy" pass me.
Now it was getting personal and I purposely kept her from getting around and she started flashing the highs and I just laughed at her and kept tooling down the turnpike.
Life is good when you have a nice running quick car
