btw, I had the exact same thing happen to me when I owned a lease ford focus. I was driving down the highway, and all the sudden the car starts bucking really hard, so i push the accelerator to the floor hoping to keep it going. No luck. All the sudden, everything in the car just dies. I roll to a stop, wait about 5 mins, and turn the key and starts right up. Get back up to speed and a mile later the car starts doing it again. This time after stopping it wouldnt start back up. Turns out the alternator took a crap and the battery was juiced out as a result.
