Personal preference is personal preference.

The 5.7L is a finely tuned machine, whether or not you think pushrods are antiquated or not. And not only does it make more HP than any ford V8 you can buy that's actually in a car...it gets better gas mileage too.

Same goes for the leaf springs. There's a big difference between what you think is old technology and what actually works well. Again, the vette will outhandle the cobra. And the vette is not the only GM with leafs in the rear. The caddy XLR also uses rear leafs. Hell, every mustang outside the cobra had leafs in the rear until 05!!!

Not that the cobra isn't a great car though...

And clarkson did get rid of his GT but has since bought it back.
