It is probably just headers however the new Z06 is extremely responsive to temp changes and mileage. The car has been rated at anywhere from 440-470rwhp with no consistent number. That 40rwhp dyno happened but was never recreated. The car now seems to gain around 20rwhp with just headers. The tune is very, very conservative on this car. Lingenfelter just tuned its first Z06 and made 25rwhp with the tune and a modded airbox.

OT: This 434ci 580+rwhp car does just fine with leaf springs. Runs a 1:33 at Road Atlanta. That is blazing for a street car!
