I'm assuming your a younger CEG-er and/or not into small block Chevrolets, so I'm not flaming you for the "3 something bigger", check it out. Way back in 1955 Chev introduced its small block and it measured 265 cubes, or about 4.3L, give or take a .1=/-. Fast forward to 1967 where the "legendary" 350 was born, it measured 5.7L and then again in 1970, they introduced the 400 s/b, putting out about 6.5L, a full 3.2L bigger than the original s/b, but get this, you wouldn't know it by looking at them side by side, its all inside with bore/stroke. In addition to the 265, GM introduced the 262 in the mid 70's to address the high cost of gas, they even made a 267 in the early 80's too. The small block Chev family is as follows:

-262, 265, 267, 283, 302, 327, 350 and 400

My point is that the current LS-7 in the ZO6 doesn't look any different than the LS-2 in the previous one, its all about whats inside, kinda like people
