"Blue Devil" Corvette

I've heard about this car and finally saw the pics of it, although its in disguise for sure. I heard its to be a blown 7.0L w/ 650 hp, DAMN I just read someone on here that a dyno shop tested a brand new ZO6 and it put down 443 hp and then they just swapped out a set of headers and it gained FORTY HORSEPOWER, making 483!, imagine if they use the same headers on the blown car...SEVEN HUNDRED HP with just a header swap, no problem! I'm so glad to see that GM is getting atleast one thing right with perf cars, especially since the Corvette is my favorite car of all time

IMHO corvettes, although improving, have little to no wow factor. They are a very good performance car for a lot less money, typically. I believe this car will be amazing, but just because it has more ponies and weighs less dsoen't make it a better performing car than a ford GT. When this "blue devil" outperforms a GT on the track, i'll be impressed. Until then, it's just another vette. Alebit a freakin sweet one

That's a ton of power for a light car. What I wouldn't give for a drive, and a change of underwear.

If you look at the numbers in almost every one of the auto magazines, the Z06 runs with the Ford GT to 198 mph, where it tops out. The Ford keeps going to 205. In every other performance category, it's close enough to come down to the driver. And for much less money.

The supercharged version will likely have some traction issues, but rest assured, it will be fast.

But the GT looks SOOOOO cool.

GM should build a supercar, one that isnt a superfied version of their premium sports car. dont get me wrong, this new Z06 is badass, im just thinking something more wild that'll turn heads like the Viper and the GT. although its way cool their "normal" sports car can be modded to keep up with the other guys' "exotics"
