IT DOES NOT. i just had this problem. i bought my car with only one key. finally got around to picking up another set with a remote. the dealership told me that i would need to have it programmed by then for a 1 hour service charge. thats basically $90, just for the key and programming. they could not fit me in til the next week so i took the key home and gave it a shot. took 30 seconds to program the key. the 2 key requirement must be a dealer supported myth. i did have to have them program my remote, but they did that free of charge. dont waste your money. program the key yourself. it says how in your manual
