i know this because I had to switch out the ignition key because my lock cylinder jamed and would not turn to the start possition from run, I got a used lock set and I was able to "program" the key when the instructions say you need a "unprogrammed" key

but it still follows that 98s need one key to program and later then that needs 2

and i think it is also a good idea to have a spare key in a safe place incase you get locked out or loose your keys as you will at least be able to get into the car




hey how can you program a different key that's already cut for a diff. lock set, i have a spare lock and key set, but just don't know how to program the keys to work with the pats system.
