Right, if you want another key cut you are supposed to have two programmed keys in order to cut the third (according to Ford). My daughter has one key to her car (98.5) in CT (she goes to school there)the other is here. I got a blank key and sent it to her but Ford wouldn't cut it without the spare key that I had. I sent it to her, she had the blank one cut. She only needed one of the programmed keys to program the newly cut key.
