Think of it this way "What do I gain by using the Taurus Valv covers?" Nothing, hence why everyone reuses the Contour ones, w/new valve covers seals.

Actually, I am going with a full 3.0 swap and will not be using the IMRC. I think the 3.0 cover looks better for my particular application. hehehehe. so simple..........

I'd like to see how you pull that off without a cowl hood.

You can use them. Just have to build a bracket for the coil pack as stated. Have to remove the "ratcheting plastic cover" of the oil cap=ghetto! Why not use the metal 2.5 covers and do no mods? WTF?!

I think I will start with the 2.5 front cover. The rear cover with my 2.5 coils adapted seems to be no issue. With the 3.0 intake, do you guys relocate/remote mount the IAC or does it clear?
This late in the game, I am beginning to wish I had done the hybrid set up, the 3.0 has a bunch of stuff that is just a pain in the ass. Too late now, just want to get it back on the road.

Dude just use the whole 2.5L valve covers it's easier and they're stronger than the 3L plastic ones (and you can avoid the BS jerry-rigging to fit the coil).
The IAC fits fine in top of the plastic UIM. You just have to do this:
You need to keep the Taurus Throttle Body, and in order to do this you need to swap the linkage(trhottle shaft) from the Taurus with your SVT linkage, spring, TPS, and cable bracket (you already have the cable having an SVT so I am omitting that obvious necessity). You will find that a slight grinding of the body of the Taurus TB body may be required to remove the oint at with the SVT linkage interferes with it, but it super-simple to fix. When you do the swap you will also end up noticing that the butterfly will need to be changed around in it's closed position so that it can rotate in the opposite direction to the normal operation of the Tuarus butterlfy (hence why you need to use the SVT TPS).

Honestly, I think port matching the heads to fit the split port LIM Is sooooo much easier when you are doing the build process that this seems harder to me. And in the end it doesn't end up looking like a dang ford taurus under the hood. Oh well, to each his own.
