Ive done numerous research on a possible IMRC problem and found out that the Imrc might not be the problem after all. Imrc is functioning I looked under the hood and looked for the movement with throttle and it was infact workin. Im having the hestiation at higher rpms as many other have had. I have a 98 SVT 5speed. I have no cel's and it looks like the fuel pump is the problem. I found the how to on replacement. So my question is do I buy a fuel pump for a 99 or newer svt and swap it out? Is this a easy swap out as far as fit? Thanks for any input.

You have a 98 - so you have a return fuel system - hence you do NOT want/need a returless fiuel pump.

do yourself a favor and get a 255lph Walbro fuel pump, off ebay (for a Mustang) for $50 and install that.

Thanks for the info. Is it common for these stock fuel pumps to have problems? What is the advantage with the Walbro pump?
