Nice desktop, you should definitally complete the look with TweakUI. It's a program by microsoft developers that allows little changes like the removal of those stupid arrows from shortcuts on your desktop. Definitally cleans up the view.

having JUST discovered what widgets are from a visit to the Apple store, i now understanding what the frick you all are talking about. downloading widgets now...
on a side note, i have a Presario laptop with 40 GB HD. I want to upgrade to a 80 GB or bigger internall drive. Is there an easy way to mirror what's on my current drive so I can just plug and play? and then can i keep my 40 GB as an external?

is there any way to get them to only show up with a middle mouse button click or hotkey, like the Mac OS does? i'm on XP.

Yes if you get into the options for the widgets you can select the level they sit at on your screen (always on top, etc.). Just set to Konpose mode only and they should only show up with F8.
