Here is a few things I learned while doing the Install.
First pop out the clock and rear window defroster switch. Remove two screws behind the clock and one screw behind the switch. Remove two screws in upper instrument cluster. Remove instrument trim ring. Remove five screws from the instrument cluster and pull it away. Unplug the two connectors in the back.
To remove the clear plastic cover from the center clip first. Cardoc says you can do the instal w/o removing the needles. I used small bitts of tape to secure the material down around the edge. For power I slipped the two leads under the center back light connectors and secured with tape. I slid the control unit back behind the instrument cluster and screwed it to the center console above the gas peddle. This way the dash mounted control still works for th other dash items and you can fine tune the Indiglow with it's dimer. Also you can change colors by just reaching under the dash.
Thanks again to Cardoc for putting this together!
