perhaps not in MD but here in LA you can get kick-ass fake driver's licenses that would fool a cop. not to mention fake money like i received recently fake birth certificates, social security cards and work papers are much easier to forge. not to mention you can always buy stolen authentic papers/ss cards and have a DL made to match. there are many employers, such as restaurants/fast food, who barely even glance at the papers and accept them as legit. kinda like when you go to a store and punk teenage clerk behind the counter asks to see your id when paying by credit card and pretends to actually look at it.

with anything, im sure there are sh*tty papers that are available but there are sure as hell plenty of good copies available too. producing phony paperwork is big business! although, with the exception of NY, LA is probably the bootleg capital of the US

So I still really havent heard a straight answer here. Do you guys honestly think that George W Bush is not doing enough about our borders to line the pockets of major corporations?

I think he just needed the public speaking practice. Its been five years and he still looks like a 12 year old getting "antidisestablishmentarianism" in a spelling bee.

*sigh*

I'll take this opportunity to remind everyone that it is your side that lost to this idiot twice in an election, so what does it say about your side? Yes, that you are a bunch of even bigger idiots.

Why would we be idiots...we didn't vote for him! Twice!

You're idiots because you lost to him in two elections.

When 25% of the people who voted for Bush later conclude they were big idiots for buying his campaigns (and it's only a matter of time for that), let us revisit this topic and see where you then place on the scale, as one of his more extreme proponents. I suspect there are some on this board who voted for Bush who would privately regret your inclination to indulge in "us" vs "them" where you unilaterally decide who is on which team and who are the idiots. It's fortunate for your community you express no aspirations to serve on the bench or as an elected official. But yeah, I'd donate to your campaign, that would be helping other, better candidates advance.

When I'm an idiot because Davo says so, that actually means the jury is still out.

Swing...and a miss!!!! You make a good attempt to equate approval rating with voting practices, but it doesn't work like that. Everything else you said made no sense (as it usually doesn't), and your "I'd donate to your campaign if you ran for office" line is getting rather tired.

and i'll take this opportunity to remind you that this country was in much better shape when our side was running the show. since the neo-cons took over this has been nothing but a downhill trek. when will your side realize that your idiot in shining armor has the presentation skills of a 10th grader and is basically a charicature of a snuff slurred cowboy in a pair over sized boots and hat. on top of that he barely has the support of his party who helped him get there. and it's not only us liberals that are craving a change, the traditional conservatives and centrists are also licking their chops waiting for this guy to fall flat on his face. he's pretty much stumbling over his two left feet and on his way down now. are you sure your side is behind this guy?

everyone is pretty much saying...sheesh, can 2008 get here quick enough?! lol!

john kerry lost so everyone who is not a Republican is an idiot?? that doesnt help much to your credibility Davo. sometimes you sound intelligent and sometimes you sound like youre still in high school.

GB won because he was THE Republican candidate. it also doesnt hurt that his father was a former president, a respected one at that. he was practically a shoe-in. the Dems didnt exactly have the best candidate themselves. Clinton probably could have beat him though. wonder why he didnt run back then.. was he still in college?

i love the fact that GB is our president. i get a chuckle out of his Bushisms and dorky antics and I voted for him. mostly because i wanted some conservative judges for the SCt. i am not pleased with his actions on the war however. i think he opened up a nice big fat can of worms and its still going to be a big mess well after he's gone.
