I guess when you run out of things to say, you can only say Bush is a tool of big business.
Yeah, Bush is trying to get the Latino vote, but a large portion of that group does not support illegal immigration.
The election is over.

Yes, many illegal immigrants work, but they don't work for the 'big business' you're implying is in Bush's pockets. If you really think 'big business' benefits so much from illegal immigration that they would pay GWB to be lax on illegal immigration, then your worldview pertaining to this subject is very distorted.
As for this thread being flamebait, we shouldn't view it in the same way we view jerseycat's posts. At least Antonio opened up some discussion in the thread instead of just posting a link, so I wouldn't consider it flamebait.

That is true but for the party, he is looking at 2006 and 2008.

You think "big business" is hiring illegals? No way...they all have to have proof of citizenship or INS sponsor arrangements for all their employees. No, illegals are hired by small contractors, farms, any place that can pay daily cash "under the table", certainly not the deep pockets that hold influence over political activities.

Jeb, are you being serious? All the documents you listed are easily faked. Need I pull up articles on how working illegal aliens were arrested at airports and military bases?
Granted, I will concede that it may not be "big business" per say, but business interests are for the continuation of illegal immigration.

I assume you will also pull up the articles directly linking President Bush to these corporations, along with his endorsement of such practice in each case. I'll be waiting.

If they were shown documents false or not these big businesses did not willingly hire illegals. Not all companies do BI's for all employees.

I have already conceeded on the "big business" issue. Now here are 4 articles I just googled. The last 3 are the most scary.

I work in the ship repair industry and am very aware of this illegal and unfair practice. Our company is a small business and veteran owned. Our president, a retired commander (05) has been frustrated by this for years as we get underbid by some of the less than honest companies in the area. There were some big fines for one of the master ship repair facilities a few years back. I can assure that sandblasting the hull of a submarine in a graving dock is not a much sought after way to make a living.

It may not be a sought after way to make a living, but it is a step towards a better life. To say these illegals are doing jobs that no American wants is absurd!
