this is what i get for removing the ice from my grill so my car doesn't over heat. good thing i got some elky mesh to replace it next spring. i really wish i had another car right now to drive around so i could store this one. but i can't buy a beater cause i have to drive to lansing every week for a couple more weeks this winter and i need something reliable.

That sucks!

Just keep looking for a winter beater. You may be surprised what you can find.

Man that really sucks. What I would do, is either let it go (car shouldn't over heat with ice just over the lower valance) or if your that picky take a hair dryer or something that gives off a little heat and melt it off.

the ice was over all the front grills. it wasn't over heating seriously, but it was like one letter away from the red, so i pulled over in a rest stop to knock it off. i don't know if that's when i knocked that piece out or if it was some other time over this weekend.

Yea I drove from Houghton to Marquette and back Weds night and it took about 7 hours. Usually 4 hour round trip. We got about 10 inches of snow also and its raining right now.
