advice, DONT USE THE WORD QUIT... its like you already admitting failure. Quit is not a word you use to describe succeeding at a hard task.... think about it.

only use the word STOPPED

yes... I am a cougar owner trolling on your board.

I never got into smoking so maybe I'm not one to comment here, but look at it like this, the money you save can go towards modding your future cars, the cars you'll be around to enjoy down the road Not only that but your clothes will not STINK anymore, you'll get healthier in about 6 monthes once your lungs heal up and you will not need to buy that late night teeth whitening stuff found on cable To quote Nike..."JUST DO IT!"

but then they come up with some weird excuse.
so, dont try to make yourself think you need a smoke, cause you don't.

Get into sports, It gets your mind off of it. The longer you are off the tar the better your endurance will be. And if you start smoking again while heavily into sports its like a kick in the ass and makes you realize what your doing to your body.

I either bring up the financial loss or you're paying to kill yourself.

do the math, say you're a pack a week, avg. pack is what like $4.50 now? so...
one a week: $4.50 x 52 = $234
One a day: $4.50 x 365 = $1,642.50

Gladly i've spent nothing, and i plan to keep it that way.

OK, so I made it through another day...but today was the test I was dreading. I made it through WORK with no smokes, and today was MEGA stressful, PPAP day for Roush. To be honest, I didn't even crave at all today!!! Thanks everyone for being so supportive....

Yeah I had a day like that today. I broke down and had one but that's pretty good for me. Still wasn't happy about that. The funny thing was it started to make me feel sick. I think I am finally at the point where I want to stop.

I never understood the people at resturants that smoke while eating... Yeck... I like a mild hickory or charcoal smoke taste on my steak but that doen't mean I want to stick my head under the grill hood while eating it.
