Ok, they're not the best but here are my pics after getting the CSVT home after picking it up on Wednesday night.   I wasn't too impressed when I saw this:

Oh I intend to. First thing I'm going to do when I get home from work tonight is to start cleaning it. I'd thought that the delearship would have cleand that up, I was a little taken aback when I poped the hood.

Looks like bodyshop dust. And the fact that the IMRC cover has the chalk on it, tells me it's either never been cleaned off from the factory, or it's not an original piece(ie: possible crash repair). Did you run a Carfax on it?

Yep. Carfax came back clean. 
Edit:
Bought it at an SVT delear. They had all the maintenance/repair records as it was serviced there, and said the previous owner traded it in on an Escape.
I remember when looking at it before thinking it was just road dust. I'll be looking at it in a bit more detail now before I clean it.

Please tell me you popped the hood before you bought it  I would have made them detail it before delivery! How many miles/year/price??
