Never owned a new car, but just bought a six-year-old one last night ... check out this topic in the New England forum for some small night shots ... better ones to come in Pics/Vids after I sell the Contour and register this one.

I recently saw a really nice Black on Black Mercedes S500 at a local dealership and they only wanted 25,900. I called to inquire about the year of the car and mileage. The dealer told me it was a 2000 with 115k. The mileage was enough to discourage me of taking it for a test drive and even giving it a shot. I would have bought the car if it would have had around 50Kmiles on the clock. Back to saving my $ I guess as I am not really in the market for a new car.

I dream about getting a new car every once in a while. The itch just gets to me some times and I start shopping. But in fact I may never own a new car again. Depreciation & insurance requirements are too rediculous compared to buying a good used Contique or similar.
Next in the stable I'm considering another Grand Marquis, Mustang, BMW 3 series, X-Type, RX-7 or RX-8, and perhaps a Duratec powered Milan or Montego if I'm feeling particularly old by that time. Any of the above will be used... um, "Pre-Owned", of course.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

I'd love to have a Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Turbo but I just bought a new house so i'll probably hold onto the tour for at least another year.

actully I have owned a new car. MY CONTOUR! Yep I drove it of the new car lot. Its nice to know that I have put all 70,xxx miles on it. If I could do it all over again I would of waited a little be more to save more money to buy a CSVT. But what can you do.
