w00t for used car dealers ... sold the Contour for $1500 (appx tradin value) today

kept the original owner's manual (for when I do buy an SVT, it likely won't come with one)

Filthy, dirty, salty photo shoot coming up soon ...

A few parting Contour pics located here ... (and a partial list of repairs it's required in its lifetime ) ...

Maxima pictures will come once my school hosting is back online after the holiday, and it's registered in my name (after Monday). Till then, I've got the Miata

Congrats on the new ride Matt.
Someone took good care of that car, the interior looks brand new!

If you're transferring the plates from the Contour to the Maxima, you can run on the contour plates for up to seven days.

That's interesting, Ryan ... the problem is, the Maxima is still currently registered and insured to the previous owner (even has his plates on it still -- giving them back to him on Monday when my dad goes into work). I didn't want to drive it for fear of wrecking the car while it's still insured under his name. Would you know if the grace period applies still?

If he has signed the title over to you then the deal is technically done. His insurance/registration are no longer in effect.
