yeah. Roses is a great song. He makes some beat musiq for the clubs, but has some deep songs too. I think he is the best rapper ever. I'm being totally honest. I would hear his songs and download and read his lyrics. I own both his albums.

rock on! i agree that he is perhaps the best rapper ever. his special on VH1 (might have been mtv) called "The life and rhymes" was awesome. he did all his songs live and would cut to just a beat during them and explain to the audience what they mean to him and for "Hey Mama" he actually got his mom on the stage with him .

Did you just start listening to rap in 2003? Kanye may be a bright spot in hip-hop today, but that isn't saying much of anything. There are dozens and dozens of rappers that I would put ahead of him. Examples: Biggie, Pac, Nas, Eminem, Rakim, Common, Andre Benjamin, Big Boi, and many many more. Your opinion is great and you're entitled to it, but I suggest listening to some of the above rappers if you think Kanye is the best ever; you're in for a treat if you do.

agreed on this point too. Common is another of my all time favorites. Eminem's first couple albums were great, but his newest stuff just seems like a rehash of his old stuff. Though, his new single "welcome to detroit" is also very cool . Nas is another awesome rapper, but his feud with Jay-Z really turned me off of both of them. Biggie and Pac are understood legends. It's just a given that they will me timeless  . Outkast is also pretty good. waiting for their next album(s)!

I honestly think mike jones is good. His beats are fresh. The chopped and screwed versions orginated by DJ Screw are original and in my opinion effing great. Get wasted, i mean trashed and listen to that ish. It's good. Yeah so what he says his name alot, and IMHO the phone number thing is pretty cool and caused tons of hype. Those of you who don't like mike jones are probably the type who loved p-diddy 3-4 years ago. And as far as Kanye.. 1st album was amazing .. 2nd album is meh oh and paul wall baby! the people's champ

Ok here is how this whole thread was started... Last weekend myself and WRXbarge went to green bay. Party with a bunch of my buddies from college and High school, and one of my best friends starts talking about mike jones. "The women love there mike jones!" I was like whotf is Mike jones? Then i knew instantly... So the songs get plaied like nonstop friday night. I wake up in the morning to what? His F'n Cell phone ringing(ringtone is Who Mike jones, who Mike Jones Who mike jones etc) Now 3 days later that [censored] is stuck in my head. eight zero zero fo!
