they both have internal fuses
the crossfire tech said the cfa1000d will draw 125-130 amps keep in mind these amp where big back 98 so the technology was different then
my four channel amp also a crossfire the cfa404 which is like 55-75 watts rms @ 4 ohms i guessing it draws 35-40 amps
so worst case i'm looking at 170 amp with just the stereo system and then i have a 2000 csvt to power as well.
i think i'm going to buy a high output alternator which is 200 amp instead of the stock 120 amp alt. for $210
and a black xstatic batcap 400 for $220
and i still have a digital 1 farad car that i haven't figured out how i'm going to tie into the system yet.
so far my layout is as follows
pioneer p6400 cd player pioneer deq-7600 one din eq sound processor 2 pair 18' yellow fosgate rcas for the four channel 1 pair purple streetwires rcs for the sub amp 1 crossfire cfa404 four channel amp 1 crossfire cfa1000d mono sub amp 4 boston 5x7 nx87 4 ohm speakers
i still need a power cable i'm thinking 2 gauge at least
a pair of dual 4 ohm subs like the alpine typr -r 12" to run at a 1 ohm load.
a box i'll more than likly get a custom box
i read something about bypassing the factory amp ? what are the benifits of bypassing the factory amp in my csvt ?
