Only thing that would improve the looks is if Ford had included 16x7 rims instead of the 16x6.5s. An extra 1/4 or 1/2 inch of tire to come up flush with the fenders would be perfect.

Guess that was done to preserve Cd of 0.31. Wide tires flush or sticking out of fenders would significantly increase drag.

Also, I wish the doors/windows didn't have the completely framed look, a la Ford Tempo. An Audi A4 or Passat-like hidden B pillar would maybe have been better.

I have to agree, here, after running 16x7.5, that the wider wheels make a huge difference--much more than I had anticipated.

I like the B-pillar as is. To me, it helps connect this car to the European Ford Sierra sedan which it replaced. Blacking it out, or making it flush glass, reminds me too much of late 80's US cars, and their associated rattles and wind noise.

I never mention this car and the Tempo in the same sentence...whoops, just did!
