dude, it's just a dog. no big deal. If it was dumb enough to run out in front of me, then it's dumb. If a semi T-bones me and i was at fault, the driver has every right to laugh, even if it is a human he just killed.
i killed a dog, like i said, big deal.

years ago i was with my mother in her car and a large dog was crossing the road, she stopped. the dog looked at teh car, and ran full speed into the drivers door.
fell back on the ground for a few seconds, then got up and ran away.

i also watched a guy in a grand cherokee have a hawk swoop down in front of him hit the pass front corner then ricochet up and smash the windshield, then rolled off onto teh ground.
the driver never stopped. if something had just hit my car and done that much damage, you can bet that i would be stopping and making sure it was dead!

Exactly. The PETA wing of CEG comes out at times like this. Let the countdown begin to when jerseycat10 comes in here and tells us the dog is smarter than you, even though it ran into a moving 3,000-pound object.

Personally, I don't have any problem showing a little compassion to a dog, even if it is a dumb one. I'd feel bad if I hit a dog, heard it yelping, and saw it limping away. *shrug*

yeah its just a dog, but it was probably someones pet. How would you like if someone killed your pet?
