The wierdest thig happened to me last night, i ran over a dog
Nothing happened to my car, but that dog is probly dead by this morning
i was going along and i saw the dog (about german sheperd sized) on the other side of the road. I started to slow down when all of the sudden he runs right into me. Like, not trying to chase but more lie he was gonna try and bite my license plate off.
So, ka-Thunk! (ch!t) and then some more thumps, the rear end pops up and i skid along on top of the dog. I get out(cussing the dog the whole time cuz i think my bumper is gone) Nothing is wrong! phew! then i hear the dog yippin and see it run back across the road to a house. I was now able to laugh at it. Dumb dog!

So this begs the questions... What wierd things have you ran over?

Hit a dog doing 50 once. I swerved to avoid, but he doubled back to run under my tire. Neighbor saw it happen & told me the dog was prolly committing suicide 'cause the owners were cruel bastages.

Weirdest thing:

A bird swooped down into the road to run head on with my RX-3 front grill. Yes, an RX-3. Nothin' left of the bird - I was doing 120 at the time. It was sorta like that rabbit vs. racer video.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

I've never 'ran over' anything other than possums, rabbits, etc., but catching a bird in the windshield is always fun. I almost always duck even though I know it's not going to hit me.

I hit a hawk or some kind of BIG bird. The lesabre has so many dents and scratches I can't really tell if it did anything tho.

You didn't feel bad or anything? Personally, I would have stopped...

Reminds me of the guy driving too fast on a back road here in FL. Pellican in the windsheild. Both bird & driver died.

Maybe on your way home next time a semi will T-bone you. Then the driver will get out and laugh at you... stupid contour..

On the topic though I was flying around a turn at night one time with my Mirko on the car. As I came a round the corner I noticed a Racoon that was fresh (just laying there not flattened). But I didn't know that thinking it was alive and slammed on the brakes which dipped my front end down like a shovel and flung the dead racoon off the road into the bushes. Chipped the splitter and bent one of the braces.
