Maybe I am wrong but isn't a major part of the Emergency brake the fact that it is an emergency brake? If all else fails than its still there and can manually be operated. What if power is lost, how can you stop if the e-brake is electronic. I wouldn't be willing to take that chance! guess its up to if you are willing to risk your car for it?!
