Actually though, I believe what alot of amature rally drivers used to do was to reverse the ratchet mechanism for quick dissengage....

haha. well, whenever i use my emergency brake for tricks, or when i want to, having the emergency brake where it is kind of kills me. i don't have as good of control on my left hand as I do with my right...so yeah. it would be cool to have a button...would make tricks much easier
