You're not too bright. The Camaro is DEAD. And your numbers on the z06/viper/GT from that article are way off, there is no way you really read it. The Viper made less hp on the dyno than the GT or z06. Are you blind? Or illiterate? It is right there, in the issue.
You're not good at arguing, since you don't use facts, you just make up crap.
And shouldn't you be driving a Stratus or some BS like that?
If you look at the sidebar that talks about the MT guys actually strapping the three cars to a dyno it talks about those #s. Read more than just the main text. And my family owns many many Mopars, as well as Chevrolets. Not too long ago we had a Valiant and a Volare, as well as our Durango. My auntie has a Duster 340 and an El Camino SS350, as well as her Silverado. My Uncle Buzz has a '68 Chevelle Malibu 327, a '96 Camaro, and a Plymouth Acclaim. My Uncle John has a Chevrolet Silverado(2001) with a modified 350 TBI motor(now carbureted) swapped in for the 5.3L, a blown '99 Camaro SS, and a King of The Hill Camaro sitting in his front Lawn. My cousin Shannon has a '92 Camaro with a big-block 454 twisting around inside it's engine bay. I wont even mention the other cars my family used to have, as it hurts to think that we sold them.
I, personally have my eye on a 1974 Roadrunner sitting down the street for sale. It has the Commando 318, and all the interior bits are immaculate. I'm looking at getting it as soon as I finish helping my friend get his '88 Firebird together.

Yeah it's got a Viper engine so it must be fast. Ryan already summed it up nicely, the Lightning showed the SRT-10 who it's daddy is.
I think YOU suck at facts. The SRT-10 whooped the Lightnings arse all over the floor and then proceeded to gain its status as the worlds fastest production truck. Lightning ain't got nuthin on that.
DCX is debateing about releasing the Challenger with a tuned up 3.5L, good for about 275hp. That sounds like a nice entry-level engine to me, as if the current 250 hp 3.5L wasn't already a good engine.
