Yeah you could probably get 1K for it. If its body is clean (no dents, little or no rust) My 96 is a GL, 4 banger, ATX, had 92K, this last July when I got it. I paid $1600 for mine (I think it was a steal ) Has no rust. Only seen 1 buffalo winter.
