They try to compare them to watches and appliances. Turbos failing before 50k!!! Hahah my buddy had to replace two sets of them on his own dollar on his S4! My wife's vw was such junk it was crazy. I couldn't believe a car could have such problems and be so new. The worst part about it was they could have easily been prevented. I remember the commercials... "The German Engineered Vw blah blah" VW has given German engineering a bad wrap. (Mercedes hasn't helped much either.) My buddies Jetta had so many problems he had to just park it in the garage and let his lease expire.
i agree 100% with this. but i still love my Jetta. even with all the problems and all the quirks, it has treated me well. kind of a love-hate situation
