You have a cassette deck in your car and are worried about sound quality....hmmm

Your best solution if you have an aftermarket radio is an Aux input, connect straight from the output of the radio to the Aux input of your HU.

Sound quality in aviation is relative. At best, we sould like we're on the phone over the radio. I was worried about the mono/stereo issues. I'm worried if the sould would come out from only one side.

Anyhoo, I'll look into the aux input. Thanks, guys!

BTW, I plan on installing either a Uniden Bearcat 296, or Sporty's Pilot Shop SP-200 or Air Band V.
