Hey all, I have a 96 Tour with a 2.0. It is running ok at idle, but when you first start it cold you can't give it gas because it will die. If you bring the RPM's to around 4000 in park the engine will surge. When it is placed in gear it wants to die and yoiu have to feather the throttle to get it going. There is a definate loss of power. Also, when the A/C is on at an idle it will surge and try to die. If the A/C is on and in gear it tries to die. At a stop light I have to put it in neutral.
