I added the resistor and it did not light up. I only tried one led for test purposes with the resistor you suggested. Do all 4 leds need to be attached to make them work? So far, all I've done is replace the simpler single lock and window leds and as I stated before they work fine. Nothing else has been cut or spliced so I am confident that its not an outside short. At this point, I am completely lost. All the fuses are intact and even those little two red/green leds in the master switch light up.

They are in a series, so if u ripped them all out and only put on back in, then it won't work, so ya they all need to be hooked up. I assume your talking about the drivers windown switch?

Yup, obicanobio, the driver switch is the one I was talking about. Thanks for that piece of info, that should be the source of my problem. If this continues, Im going to franchise a Radio Shack

I like the idea, and would love to do red (or white), but my stereo will no longer match. Right now its a perfect match to everything in the car so its staying as is.

If this continues, Im going to franchise a Radio Shack Ah, you were talking about the window switches, not the lock switch... Well, the master window switch is in a series like obicanobio said. If you use led's that are 3.7 or 5V, then you don't need a resistor in there, just bridge the gap where the resistor used to be and put in the led's in series. If you have led's were the voltage doesn't add up to more than 13.5V, then you need a resistor. Glad you got it working. Sorry for my confusion...

No Problem, it was solved just before I really got in the hole:D Im glad I dont need that resistor because they were very dim, now they match the rest of the switches. Do you think its possible to have the speedo and those other gauges replaced by a pro once they are purchased. It looks like a pain the butt to replace. By the way, I will be posting the pics this sunday .
