Actually, don't be too sure about that 75 shot.
Every 75 shot dyno on our cars has been like 100 hp to the wheels! Plus the torque loads go really high when the nitrous is first injected, probably approaching that 400 ft-lbs at the flywheel.
I know my own car on just a 75 wet shot out of my 2.5L was easily as good as running my 3L turbo on 8 pounds of boost! I mean it felt comparable in every way except that the torque was monstrous all the way.
I'd have a hard time believing that anyone with a decently dialed in 75shot on a 2.5L isn't pushing more torque in the lower rpms than the 400 HP turbo guys.
