Has anyone ever had a SPEC III slip? I was out messin' around last night with the 75 shot, and I had it slip one time REALLY BAD!!!! on me.
It was 31-32 degress (I was thinkin' that may have something to do with it), and I was cruisin' down the road. I let the bottle heater warm the bottle up to about 950psi, and I let it rip a couple times. I guess cause the road was cold and all it just spun the tires horribly when i hit it in 2nd at about 40mph. So , I slowed down, and when I got back to about 4000rpm's in 2nd I hit it again. This time I let it spin for a couple seconds, and proceeded to hit third. When I hit third it grab for a brief second, and then went bangin' off the rev limiter, and not because the tires were spinning either!(not good with the nitrous

). That was the first time in the 6 months I have had the clutch with the nitrous that it has slipped on me...especially that bad!
I was rather upset with it at this point so i did a couple more times to see if it would slip again ,and it did not.
Does anyone think it was a "freezing clutch" that did this? Cause like i said it has not done it before...and when i took it to the track last friday, and tortured it for 4 runs with the 35 shot and 4 runs with the 75 shot it didn't slip...NOT ONCE!
Maybe a mixture of 19" wheels and a freezing cold clutch gave it no choice but to slip
