I just had my alternator rebuilt about three weeks ago. The other night my battery light came on but.......it would only light up if I gave her some gas. It would not light up at Idle and It would not light up if I drove in reverse. It would only come on if I was going forward with my foot on the gas pedal. So needless to say before I could get it checked out, the wife took it and it drained the battery.
and.....
When I had the alternator rebuilt I also put in a brand new battery. So I took the battery out today and put it on a charger and it would not take a charge. I placed another battery on the charger and it charged fine so it is not the charger (I just bought the charger today)
so...what say you? Bad Battery? or Alternator?
I don't know what I would do with out this website!
