I am planning on detailing my car, including some touch up paint. Does this sound right?:
1) Wash car with Palmolive dish soap
2) Mother's claybar (my local stores only carried mothers, it should do the job just fine)
3) Wash the car lightly/quickly once more using ZIP car wash
4) Meguiars Clear Coat Scrub
5) Touch-up paint...wait for 24 hrs (as per directions on bottle)
6) Meguiars step 2 polish (1-2 coats)
7) Meguiars Gold Class wax
No its not Zaino, but I was wondering if this looks about right. Should I do #4 (Clear Coat Scrub) before or after #5 (touch-up paint), or does it matter?
