My car has gold emblems. all the lettering, the ovals around the ford emblams are all gold. i have never seen another one like it. its a 97 GL mtx and im not sure what it means. does anyone know what it means.

some one took the time to make them look that way as it wouldn't have come from the factory looking that way

they were like that when we bought the car
ganted it was used but the previous owner had no interest in modding it. and it only had like 20k miles on it, if that.

what, you didnt get the 20 inch wires and 18 inch subs with that gold package? Contour GL DUB edititon.

Gold electroplating the emblemems is a $20 process the dealer will do on the loat and charge the buyer $200 for; because it's now a 'Special' or 'Limited' Edition.
