Yes only. If I had 800hp I would want at least 700ft-lbs of torque.

When did AMS get their 4 wheel dyno? I was just there in the beginning of October and they only had the 2 wheel dyno. They had all their cars out that day and that EVO sounds really mean in person.

560 ft/lb of torque is more then enough for that car...for just about any street car for that matter. Also massive torque comes from cubic inches not little hi-reviing 2L 4-bangers, 560 ft/lb is awesome for the 2L. With 700 ft/lb of torque the car would probably be useless.

That is the kind of torque many turbodiesels in trucks are putting out! You could tow a horse-trailer with that Evo if it had the structural capability! Impressive car! Still...you guys better watch out, Dodge and Jeep are coming to town with their own versions!

That was my point originally, the turbo lag on the 400HP model is insane... It can be beat by hybrid off the line!
