I got 2X10inch punch that I bought in 2002 and the are unbreakable.
Old RF is good new is piece of scrap(exept the power serie)

So you suggested it, then turn right around and say its crap following my comment? You even threw my comment about the power series in there....some Sheeple j/k

I love my adire shiva...a single 12" that gets people asking me if I have 2 12"s or even a 15 installed...why would you want to go with anything else?? Adire's subs are worth every penny.

Yeah, Computer Engineering sucks, thats why I havent been on here in sooo long. But, it's the holiday season and I'm ready to replace my Adire Tempest .

Now, here's what I need. Something to go into a 3.4 cuft sealed box, 15" subwoofer that is made to handle 500-600wrms at 4ohms. I was looking at this but before I buy that sub, I want to know if its the same as the Tempest, or if anyone has a better idea, or if anyone can find me another Tempest.

Thanks friends

My problem is finding someone selling a Tempest.... I'd buy a Brahma, but I dont want to build another box and get a better amp.

If you can find me a 15" Tempest, I'll buy it. Believe me, that subwoofer hit harder and longer than when I had the 15" L7 / JBL 1200.1 in my car

Magmas kicks ass, I had a friend with a rodeo and a single 15" magma running 1500w RMS. The roof of his car looked like the surface of the moon with all the dents that sub put in it. Only problem here is he doesn't have near the power to push it.

Exactly, and if I was looking to buy another amp and change a major part of my system, I already have stuff in mind

I'm waiting for the right person to read this post and tell me that they have a Adire Tempest for sale

On your Vega, can you compare it to the Tempest? Have you heard both, and if so, what do you think is better? Its hard to beat a subwoofer with 18.5 mm one way xmax at 600wrms

honestly, no i haven't heard a tempest, but IIRC the Vega has more 1-way excursion. 18mm is about .75 of an inch.
lemme find the Vega site..

http://www.cerwinvega.com/products/mobileaudio/index.html

scroll down, either the 154 or 15D4

combined excursion of 1.6, so .8 inch each way, just a tad more than that tempest.

read up on it though, 500W at 96 db is insane. what is the sensitivity of the tempest, out of curiosity?
