Yeah, Computer Engineering sucks, thats why I havent been on here in sooo long. But, it's the holiday season and I'm ready to replace my Adire Tempest .

Now, here's what I need. Something to go into a 3.4 cuft sealed box, 15" subwoofer that is made to handle 500-600wrms at 4ohms. I was looking at this but before I buy that sub, I want to know if its the same as the Tempest, or if anyone has a better idea, or if anyone can find me another Tempest.

Thanks friends

3.4 cubic feet seems kind of on the big size, even for a 15" sub in a sealed enclosure. You would almost me better off building a new and probably smaller box for the sub of your choice.

Yeah but like I said.....RF recommends a 1.5 cubic foot enclosure for that sub.

Thats false advertising if I've ever heard it. 60oz is a paperweight. And I've had so may complaints in the past from the "durable injection moulded cone" seperating itself from the sorround (usually with stage 1 subs). The only RF speakers worth anything are the power series.

The problem is that RF is going worst as years pass...
I got 2X10inch punch that I bought in 2002 and the are unbreakable.
Old RF is good new is piece of scrap(exept the power serie)

3.4cuft sealed box? That's pretty damn big.

I would reccomend an eD 160V.2, doesn't meet your box requirements tho.

good sub
