good point pete. the car in question I just got for 500 bucks because it had a blown engine, but the body was in excelelnt condition and I got the 3.0L. then this last sunday in the wind we had here a tree fell on the car, so now the body is not so good, it needs windshield, hood and the a-pillay is bent, I am not sure what it takes to fix that. so yeah I am def thinking about some difgferent possibilities now. the mystique I am driving now is not much better, you probably remember for spring zing. any way back to mark, I was wondering about just going with a high compression motor and not boosting later if it makes good power, I know you are probably one of the most powerful NA 3.0L's out there. Would there be any benefit from running higher compression. the car will not be a daily driver but I will do a lot of driveing when weather is nice. If I go with the 3.0L heads the compression will go down but futer mods would be more possible. I am on a budget and am basicaly looking for something with great power bit I dont want to spend 3K on a turbo, I would also like to try to stay away from nitrous as well but you seem to have good luck with yours. I am really just wieghing dofferent options right now so I dont change my mind half way through the projuect and end up costing myself money.
