Up north in da ole UP we have got quite a bit. About 8 inches which started at about 11PM Tuesaday night. Before that we got rained on all day. So with rain and snow we got tons of slush and ice forming on the roads. All the high schools were closed and so was NMU and FU but good ole MTU was still open as always!

HERE in Grand Rapids it rained like crazy and then about 10:00 am turned to snow. the news reperts kept saying no accumulation, as of a half hour ago 10:15pm I have a hair under 6 inches in my front yard and it was a white out.

"H" speed rating is good for 130 mph, so I think your ok there 
As far as driving it in the winter, I will, but only on nice days and heres why. I have Michelin "Pilot" sport tires on the car which mean their only summer tires, no M+S to be found anywhere on the sidewall, which means NO SNOW!
