Honda has recalls too http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9991618/so does Toyota, if you go and look it up. No company is perfect, although how they handle the recalls are another issue....

If they liked their cars burning, they wouldn't have recalled 225k cars. You know, the people that design these cars are..... get this...... human! I know, I was shocked to find that out too!

Sounds more like a CHEAP part than an engineering problem. If the straps can't hold up the tank then....
