Yep, I knw it was impossible to get this nice of a car and avoid idiots.

This last weekend driving to Calgary with my gf and my pregnant sister, a drunk driver driving the opposite direction decided to pull into our lane while we were both going 90km, pitch black and snowing.

I swerved, he blew right by, maybe a coulple inch's, and then I started to fishtale. I double shifted from 5th down to 3rd, turning right to avoid him. Hit black ice, turned left. The back passenger side hit a marridien and then like a magnet, the front passenger side connected with the merridien connecting it to it.

I know, without pictures it;s boring to read, but I am in Kamloops working this week again. I'll get my gf to send some pictures over asap.

Anyways, the driver took off and I would of turned around to go after him, except my front wheel panel was over top of my wheel.

Anyways, I guess I just have to pay the 500$ decudtable in my insurance, talk to the cops next week and get going.

ha, I had to laugh at that, and I dont know why. Yeah, cars are cool in the summer, but everyone should drive a ugly vehicle for the winter, so not to worry.

Sigh. I miss my shiny svt. I want 18" rims. I want an indash dvd player. I want to clean my uim/lim. I want a new air intake. I want a mirko splitter without paying an arm and a leg. I want to buff out the rain spots on all my windows that will not come off even with vinigar. I want to retint. I want to finish my fibreglass sub enclosure.

I want 1,000,000.00 US in unmarked bills to arrive in my bank account.

First hand good thing know one was killed. Heads up on the driving to avoid a bigger accident. I hope everything is okay with your gf and your sister and yourself.

what does 90km/h equate to in mph? Why would you be driving that fast with it being pitch black and snowing? The "I'm 18 and invincible" mentality is showing through. Sometimes it's good to think of the 3 passengers(yes, your sister's baby counts as a passenger) in your car.

Ok, there's my rant. Other than that, sorry to hear about the car. They are replaceable, so I'm sure she'll be back on the road before you know it.
